Budget Airlines, Budget Customer Service

It so sad to realize that right now we are promoting Cebu as an ASEAN City of Culture yet the airline that carries the name of Cebu is truly an embarrassment to the world. If there is any word that worse than terrible is the word that will describe the experience that we had with Cebu Pacific. The experience was truly unbelievable. It is really a shame for them to carry the Cebu Pacific name and their customer service is unacceptable.
Checking in is really a hassle due to impolite and lazy staff. You can see few people standing and doing nothing but chat and laugh. They lack basic materials for checking in like masking tapes, staplers, scissors and more. And if you heard your name for boarding and it is already the last call, it means that you cannot enter and board the plane even if your just seconds away. And the people that are in-charge there? Unprofessional, incompetent, unethical and untrained! If you inform them you’re late they will not pay attention to you, they will just continue to look busy and doing other things. You need to make a follow up and check if they are working on it because they’re not. They will not make any effort to help you. No urgency to help any passengers no matter how many. With no apologies nor acknowledging the passenger, they will tell you to purchase another ticket.
When you get to agent who will book the ticket, she would know how much you can afford by just looking at you. She will tell you that you cannot afford because it is expensive however she can negotiate and offer you a smaller aircraft which means risking your life to an old plane. Isn’t it great? And by the way, if you asked for an OR and for her name she would be annoyed and asked why it’s needed? Sometimes, it is unfair on the side of the passengers because they are giving out their personal information including their billing information however they can’t get the name of the person who processed it for a security purposes and documentations. Other cashiers are also careless when doing transactions. They will tell you that you will only pay this amount and when you’re done they run after you and tell you that you need to pay a higher amount.
On the plane while other passengers are boarding, somebody will approach you and tell you that you are at the wrong seat. Well, we actually have the same seat number. How did it happen? Asked the person whose in-charge for checking in. Good thing the plane was not fully booked and the other guy was able to locate another seat.
What an awful, terrible and traumatic experience! Never will I fly with this airline again. I wonder how these people got the job. I wonder what kind of customer service training do they had. Or do they have one?  And I wonder what this company is doing about these complaints that we have. When I checked the reviews, it is very disappointing but I have to agree with them.  Cheap in
Shame on Cebu Pacific! Cheap in everything, because the kind of service that you will be receiving from them is also CHEAP. The amount that you paid for your fare is not worth it.

KARMA

Karma! What goes around comes around. We bought this laptop a month ago and this is very convenient. We don't have to go to an internet cafe and work or play. When we bought this laptop, our money is just really enough. We bought this without an OS (Operating System). So basically, we need pay extra in order for our laptop to work. The sales assistant that attended us is very friendly and he offered us a very good deal. Well of course who wouldn't accept that, right? He informed us that he will be installing a very good version and will not let us activate or update anything in our laptop. Sales talk they say. We agreed to it and paid the guy. After that we already had problems with the laptop. First, the adapter malfunctioned so we need to take it again to the shop and wait for 3 days to get. Second, we kept on receiving prompts in that the software needs activation. Third, we can no longer enjoy some of the features because it says that the OS is not genuine.. IT IS REALLY AN INCONVENIENCE! I already sent an email to the management of that particular company and hopefully everything will be OK. Everybody happy!

COOL CHANGE

The only thing that doesn't change is change itself.

Millions of people are afraid to make changes in their lives. Do'nt want to make changes with ourselves because we are scared that the new us. Physically, we don't want to change because we are already comfortable to our old selves. In our workplace or even in school, we don't to change any of our process because we think it's difficult. Yes,it is difficult because we will not be following anymore  the steps that we are used to. We will look different and we feel different. I just noticed that these changes that we are scared of are improvements. Improvements to our jobs to make our tasks easier and to make us more efficient. Improvements to ourselves so that we feel better and look best. Changes are made because maybe the ones that we have or do now is not anymore OK. Not anymore useful or not pleasing to the eyes. If we don't adapt to change we may loose something. That something can be your job or the person you love. The worst is you loose your self and your happiness. People they say cannot be contented. So to satisfy that need to be content is for us to change. A very good example is our cellphone.  When we first got it, we like it very much. Wherever we go we have our cellphone with us. We brag on its featues and compare it to others. But months passed, did you notice that you don't care for your phone anymore? I mean you get bored with its features. Weird isn't it? Few months after you have your new phone, you want to have a new one. The one that has more features sleek designs and more. Why are we doing this? For fashion? For something new? For self satisfaction? Name it. But i know you have your own reason. My point here is when you get your new one, you still study your new phone right? You change the settings. You personalize it. You try learn how to type your text messages faster than your old style. But you can never deny that you also have a hard time adapting to your new phone right? Here's the thing, this is the very same scenario that is happening whenever there are major changes in our lives. From typewriter to computer, from bulky televisions to flat screens, from kalesa to cars. There are a lot. At first we are scared to try these new things, but to our suprise they made our lives easier. The first step is always difficult. But then again when you get used to the new one it will be as easy as eating camote. I sound little preachy, eh? Well, i just had this kind of realization  when i started revising our four year old manual here in the office. Its really a tedious job. But then again, the change I'm doing is for the benefit of everyone. Always go for change. CHANGE FOR THE BETTER AND NOT FOR THE WORST.

Interview with an Angel

My topic for my class today is all about job interviews. Creating resume, interview tips and how to answer FAQ's. Having an interview is the scariest moment for an applicant. Scared that they might not get accepted. Scared because they don't know what to say. Luckily for me, I never experience that kind of feeling when I applied for my first job. It is because I was interviewed on the spot. I didn't had the chance to accommodate the feeling. Hahaha.... Boy that was easy. The position I applied was for a call center agent. Hmmnn that was three or four years ago. Yes, they did ask me some questions but I didn't have any difficulty in answering those questions. It is because all of the questions are all about myself. I have been in a relationship with myself since the day I was born so was able to answer everything well. Everything went smoothly. To my surprise the interviewer just shook my hand and said "Welcome to the company." Easy isn't it? Well, the thing is during the interview I was relaxed. That's what applicants should do during their interviews. They just need to relax so that they can concentrate, focus and can think better and fast. All the questions are all about ourselves so it's very impossible that we don't know the answer. But well of course I can't really blame others if they get nervous. It's normal. However, they must also realize that it's scarier not to have a job rather than having an interview. Right?
